Dr. William Ford is currently the Instructor of Low Brass at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. He also serves as the 2nd Trombone with the Rapides Symphony Orchestra in Alexandria, LA. He is currently in the process of publishing a method book that aims to combine classical and jazz pedagogies utilizing the vocalises of Marco Bordogni entitled: The Bordogni Jazz Project. He earned a D.M.A. in Brass Performance from Louisiana State University, a M.M. in Trombone Performance from Western Michigan University, and a B.M. in Jazz Studies from James Madison University. His primary teachers include Dr. Hana Beloglavec, Prof. Doug Stone, Dr. Steve Wolfinbarger, Dr. Andrew Lankford, and Dr. Chuck Dotas.
