Eric Siereveld

Dr. Eric Siereveld is the Assistant Professor of Trumpet, and Director of Jazz at the University of Louisiana Monroe. A veteran of the New York City music scene, Eric is a versatile and creative musician. Equally comfortable in classical, jazz and commercial settings, he has been a member of the Bronx Orchestra, Bronx Opera, the orchestra's of Young Frankenstein, Elf: the Musical, Addams Family, Nice Work If You Can Get It, as well as leading his own own jazz group, the Organic Quintet. Prior to his appointment at ULM, he was a faculty member at the United Nations International School and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In addition to his teaching duties at ULM, Eric is a member of the faculty brass ensemble the Black Bayou Brass, and created/directs the nationally recognized “Talons for Taps” program. He is a Conn-Selmer Endorsed Artist, and plays Bach Stradivarius Trumpets (ericsiereveldmusic.com).
