Vanessa Kanamoto

Vanessa Kanamoto is an educator, choreographer, dancer, and certified Pilates instructor. Currently, Vanessa is an Assistant Professor of Dance at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She holds an MFA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine, a BA in Dance and BS in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton. She has taught at Rio Hondo College, UCI as a Graduate Teaching Associate, and for the non-credit program at East Los Angeles College. Vanessa's choreography has been presented at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and at the prestigious Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival as part of the Inside/Out: American College Dance Association Gala Highlights.
