James Boldin


James Boldin is Professor of Music at the University of Louisiana Monroe, where he holds the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Endowed Chair in Music. He is active as a soloist and chamber musician, and performs with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, Rapides Symphony Orchestra, and Monroe Symphony Orchestra. As an advocate for new music, Boldin has commissioned and premiered numerous compositions. He has authored three books, published dozens of articles, reviews, and musical arrangements, and currently serves as Publications Editor for The International Horn Society.
